In January
Kylee lost a tooth and
Kaden gained two teeth.
Kaden started walking behind his push truck as well as walking the perimeter of our
living room while holding onto the couch. Now that he figured out how to walk without the walker he uses it to push around the house. Clara, Emory and Julia came over to play.

Well I know Christmas was, well it was last year but hey I got behind. So here is Kaden's first Christmas summed up, we didn't get to do any of the usual traditions. Kylee broke out with chicken pox on the 17 of December. We were not sure if Kaden we was going to break out as well; so, we stayed home for Christmas. Kylee still made it to Dallas but just in case Kaden had it we decided to keep him away from all the babies that were added to the Nemec family in 2009. My family came up and spent Christmas day with us and then Michael's parents came up the day after Christmas to spend some time with us. We are hoping and praying that this year Kaden will get to experience Christmas the traditional Nemec/Richardson and Marek/Miksik way. He never broke out, thank goodness. Kaden enjoyed the wrapping paper more than that gifts that were wrapped. He was a good boy so Santa was good to him. We will see if that is the case this year.Here are the pictures from Christmas 09.
Our October Overview, so far...
October Already...
Kaden is 6 months this month. He is 2o.6 lbs and 28 inches long.
He is really starting to move. He loves his walker. He is starting to sit by himself for longer periods at a time and tries so hard to sit up by himself. He really has not interest in crawling. He wants to stand up and walk already. He is really starting to show his own personality. He is constantly smiling and laughing unless he is hungry then he shows that demanding temper. This past week we could of sworn he has been saying "Mama" and he does it when I leave the room and when I come back. I am hoping it is what we are hearing and if not I am going to pretend. He is really starting to paly with toys and interact with those around him, especially at daycare. I think the ladies there are dreading the day he gets up and really starts moving. Right now, he scoots and rolls and is trying to get up on all four. However, if his walker is in his sight he wants nothing to do with being on his tummy.
Kylee is staying busy with school and dance. Her love for art is growing more and more and she is getting really good at drawing people. She loves to write and loves her movies. We are in the process of planning her birthday party, this year the theme is PINKALICOUS!
This month we are going to be pretty busy, between our families and friends October birthdays, (My Dad 10/7, Michael's Dad 10/1, our Niece Clara, Michael's Cousins Daniel and Jason 10/17, Michael's sister Mela 10/21, and Michael's 10/30 Happy Birthday Everyone!!) my friend Jamies wedding, Kaden's 6 month pictures, and Halloween there is going to be little time spent at our house this month. I have a feeling though things are just going to get busier with the holidays right around the corner.

September...then October
Ok, so I wrote this on Sept 3oth thought i posted it and then realized i did not...enjoy the steps through September...
Wow how times flies. I cannot believe that it is almost October. Things are busy around here. We are adjusting to having two kids and both of us working. The summer was way to easy on us.
Kylee is soo happy being back in school. I think she is the only child on the planet that perfers school over the summer break. She officialy has a best friend, Riley. That is all she talks about. She is still dancing and loving every minute of it. However, she has discovered cheerleading and is obsessed with it (thank you Disney channel). So interested that we use the pep rallies at my high school as incentives for her to be good during the week. This is our first week of trying this out and let me tell you, our Kylee has been an ANGEL! SO, not only are we interested in dancing but now we want to take gymnastics ( that we be added next year) dance is enough for now. Kylee and her dad went to pick out her halloween costume and she is going to be a PINK super girl. The original blue, gold, and red costume was not bright enough. She is very proud of her costume, so proud that every time I try talking her in to getting the "real" one she says, "Mom, its my costume not yours"Wow how time flies and how quickly they grow up. Sometimes I wonder if we are raising a teenager instead of a almost 5 year old.
Kaden is doing great. He is constantly on the move ( scooting). He is rolling over back and forth now and he gets such a kick out rolling back on to his back. He is really trying hard to figure out crawling. He wants to soo bad. He also is very interested in sitting up on his own and standing. The child would prefer to walk instead of crawl. He is becoming quite the talker these days, which he must do if he wants to get in a word edge wise with Kylee around. They talk to eachother all the time. He is now eating veggies. He seems to like all that he has tried. We have tried all the orange veggies and will start the greens in October. All month he has really been trying to hold his bottle on his own and is getting pretty good at it. He loves his sippy cup. As far as Halloween for Kaden, we are debating between a lion and pumpkin. The lion costumes we have found we think are too small so by default he might be a pumpkin instead. Either way, we are sure he will be absolutely adorable.
Michael and I are basically trying to keep up with our busy schedule. We are already looking forward to our 40s, EMPTY NEST!! Actually, that is not ture, we are loving every minute of it and cannot believe how much time really does fly when you are having this much fun!
August so far
Michael and I celebrated our one year anniversary in the hill country. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in San Marcos. I had my first taste of 6th street. All I can say is...interesting. The food was great; we ate at Saba Blue Water Cafe.
Kaden had his 4 month check up and is 26 inches long and 17 pounds and is eating cereal this week. Next week is squash. He is rolling over ,back to front, more these days. He also is trying really hard to sit up on his own. He will be laying flat and use his tummy to sit up; it is really crazy to watch.
Kylee is getting ready to go back to Dallas one last time before school starts. We just got back from El Campo. We stayed a week with my grandma and then a weekend with Michael's parents.

July
Kaden spent his first 4th of July in El Campo. We went spent it with Michael's side of the family. He got to spend some quality time with his partner in crime, Emory (Melea and Jody's little one).
The following weekend he was baptized. His godparents are Jason & Tamara Kaspar. He cried pretty much the whole entire time. He also ate cereal with a spoon for the first time.
He weighed 14 pounds and 7 ounces. He has discovered the TV and loves to watch. He also loves for someone to sit and talk to him. He tries to talk back. I know he has said Mama a couple of times :)! He is really trying to rollover more.
Kylee spent two weeks in Dallas. She spent the fourth with ther dad. She then came back and hung out with her friend Katherine for a week. They painted pottery, went to the movies, went swimming and played in her room.
The Nemec clan joined the Roe clan for a little summer vacation. We took the girls to Splashway and then we took all the kids to Blue Bell.
June Recap
He weighed 12lbs and 6oz and was 23 inches long. He went to the pool for the first time. He also went to see baby Julia in the hospital. He rolled over from back to front one time.
At 6 weeks he started sleeping through the night. He still sleeps from 8pm-7:30am. Kaden also went to Chelsea and Ryan's wedding, that was a first for him.
Kylee took swimming lesson for the first time. The first day was pretty bad but after that she was ready to go. She was promoted from Guppy to Goldfish.
1 Month Mile Stones
During the first month we pretty much fed him and watched him sleep. His first time out of the house was on Mothers day; we went to the park and then to El Campo.
